- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1/2 tbsp maple syrup/honey
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- Glaze
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1/2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp crushed pecans
- 1 tbsp unsweetened flaked coconut
Instructions
- 1. Place all oatmeal ingredients in a saucepan and heat over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes or until thick, stir periodically
- 2. Place oatmeal in a bowl
- 3. For the glaze, melt coconut oil and honey in a microwave-safe bowl for 20 seconds and then pour glaze on top of oatmeal
- 4. Top oatmeal with pecans and coconut and enjoy! :
